Well, I've been driving for about a few weeks now, and then this happened. I just want to say a few things though, I'm fine, no one was hurt, and the accident was nobody's fault. So what happened was that I was driving home from school, and while I was heading down the highway, there was road work. First off, I am a safe driver, I'm not really reckless or at least I try not to be, anyway, because the highway is under construction, only one lane was open, the other lane was blocked with cones and trucks and such, as I'm driving, there was a cone in the middle of the lane, I couldn't drive around it because there was no shoulder, so I had no choice but to run over it. Somehow, the cone caught the inside of the wheel and it broke the inner fender, so for about a few hundred yards, I drive slowly until I'm able to safely get off the highway. Again, no one was hurt, nor was it someone's fault. I'm fine, and I'm just happy that it wasn't any worse. Just something I learned though is always be careful when driving, even if it's not your fault, or someone else's, anything can happen. So be smart, and drive safely.
